Announcing Boardmaker 7

Tobii Dynavox is excited to announce the release of Boardmaker 7 coming the summer of 2020… just in time for the 2020-21 school year!  This new version of Boardmaker has been designed from the ground up based on user feedback and user testing.  It should be comfortable to use regardless of which version of Boardmaker you are used to.

Backward Compatibility

Boardmaker 7 will be able to create all the traditional Boardmaker activities, open all existing Boardmaker files (both print and interactive), and create new exciting activities from templates or from scratch.

Installed Software

Boardmaker 7 will be an app that you can install on Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks.  (That’s right…  Macs AND Chromebooks!)  You can purchase just the app, but if you are a Boardmaker Online subscriber, you will get Boardmaker 7 included for free!  Boardmaker 7 will work seamlessly with your Boardmaker account so you can still have all the benefits of anytime/anywhere access, student account management and data tracking, the Curriculum offerings of Reading Avenue, Activities-to-Go, Core First Learning, and receive automatic PCS symbol updates every other week. 

Fast and Reliable

Just like its predecessor, Boardmaker 7 will be easy to use, fast, and reliable.  Symbol search has been improved yet remains simple to use. Saving will always save to your computer but can optionally sync with your online account giving you fast performance with reliable activity backup.
